Michael Penix, Jr. for the Heisman!

In a whirlwind of changes, the odds for winning the 2023 Heisman Trophy have once again shifted, placing Washington Huskies' quarterback, Michael Penix Jr., back in the spotlight.

After a remarkable surge in Week 7, where he established himself as the frontrunner, Penix momentarily slipped behind Michigan's J.J. McCarthy on the odds leaderboard. However, following an exceptional performance against Stanford, the left-handed quarterback has once again claimed his position at the top of the Heisman odds list.

Although Penix currently holds the lead, it is by no means a substantial one. With four weeks remaining in the college football regular season, numerous contenders still possess the potential to seize the highly coveted trophy.
