Food Recipe: No Bake Cookies
Quick and easy recipe for No Bake Cookies.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 3 cups quick-cooking oats
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Serving Size: 24 Cookies Cook/Prep Time: 30 Minutes (include chill time)
Instructions:
1. In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the sugar, butter, milk, and cocoa powder. Place the saucepan over medium heat.
2. Stir the mixture constantly until the butter has melted and the ingredients are well combined.
3. Bring the mixture to a boil and let it boil for 1 minute.
4. Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the peanut butter. Stir until the peanut butter is fully melted and incorporated.
5. Add the quick-cooking oats and vanilla extract to the saucepan. Stir until all the oats are coated with the chocolate mixture.
6. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto wax paper or parchment paper. Allow the cookies to cool and set at room temperature for about 20 minutes.
7. Transfer the cookies to the refrigerator and let them chill for an additional 10 minutes to firm up.
8. Once the cookies are chilled and firm, they are ready to be served.
