Legion Sports Bar by Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor

Seattle Seahawks legends Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor are set to open their new Bellevue restaurant, Legion Sports Bar, on Tuesday. The duo signed the lease for the restaurant in July and have spent the past few months hiring staff and preparing the space. The menu will focus on soul food. The restaurant will have a soft opening on October 3 and will operate on reservations only until October 13.

Legion, the upscale sports bar co-owned by local restaurateur Leilani Wong and Seahawks legends Kam Chancellor and Richard Sherman, has officially opened its doors. The soft opening of the establishment started on October 3rd. The bar is located at 700 Bellevue Way Northeast, which was previously occupied by Pearl Seafood and Oyster Bar. Chancellor and Sherman, along with Wong and Adam Willden, were all listed on the liquor license application, which was submitted on July 7, 2023.

Legion Sports Bar offers a variety of gourmet bites with southern flavors, as well as craft cocktails, beer, and wine. The restaurant space spans 7,620 square feet and includes a lounge, dining room, and private dining area. Elevate has been appointed as the Art Curator for Legion, and the restaurant will showcase artwork from 22 different local artists throughout the space and in a rotating gallery.

The interior design of the upscale sports bar was handled by Sue Genty Interior Design, a Kirkland-based company. Sue Genty Interior Design has also designed the interior spaces of other restaurants in Downtown Bellevue, such as Farzi Cafe and Adrian's Restaurant & Tequila Bar.
