OL Reign dominates with five players named to the USWNT roster for the 2023 Women's World Cup.

OL Reign is sending five players to represent the United States Women's National Team at the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, the most selections for any team in the National Women's Soccer League. Defenders Alana Cook, Sofia Huerta, and Emily Sonnett, midfielder Rose Lavelle, and forward Megan Rapinoe were all chosen for the team, having each recorded either a goal or an assist during the 2023 NWSL regular season.

Before departing for New Zealand, the USWNT will play a final match against Wales on July 9 at PayPal Park in San Jose, California, at 1:00 p.m. PT in a match presented by Visa. The team will then play in the group stage of the Women's World Cup against Vietnam, Portugal, and 2019 runners-up Netherlands, with play beginning on July 21 and running through August 1. 

The 2023 Women's World Cup will take place across ten stadiums and nine host cities, with five in Australia and four in New Zealand. This year's tournament will be the first to feature 32 nations, up from 24 in previous years, and all 64 games will be broadcast live in English on FOX and FOX Sports 1, as well as on tablets and mobile devices through the FOX Sports App. Telemundo and the Universo cable network will broadcast all matches in Spanish, and all games will also be streamed in Spanish on Peacock.
