TOP CHANTS
WARNING: Possible Spoiler for The Eras Tour. Please proceed with caution. Highlighted in purple are the Top Chants provided by The News Tribune.
"All Too Well" (Taylor's Version)
During the 10-minute song from “Red (Taylor’s Version),” after she sings, “You said if we had been closer in age maybe it would have been fine,” the fans yell, “How’d that make you feel?”
The next line in the song serves as an answer: “That made me want to die.”
"Anti-Hero"
During the bridge, fans mimic a line from the remix. Swift sings, “Like some kind of congressman,” followed by backing vocals, “Tale as old as time.” In the remix, “Tale as old as time” is replaced with “Taylor, you’ll be fine,” sung by Jack Antonoff, producer and member of Bleachers, who are featured on the remix.
The audience sings the line from the remix.
"Bad Blood"
“Bad Blood” had a popular remix released for radio with rapper Kendrick Lamar. One of his lines was, “You forgive, you forget, but you never let it go.” Fans now chant this after Swift sings, “You say sorry just for show, if you live like that you live with ghosts.”
You might also hear fans say, “Hey stop,” after she sings, “’Cause baby, now we’ve got bad blood.” A moment with Swift defending a fan from a security guard during her tour went viral, and it’s taken on a life of its own with the Swifties.
"Delicate"
What started as an inside joke has become one of the most popular fan chants. After the pop star sings, “We can’t make any promises, now can we babe? But you can make me a drink,” the audience yells “One, two, three, let’s go b****.”
It was made part of Swift’s set after a fan posted a video yelling the phrase on Twitter in 2018. Audiences since have kept the tradition going.
"Young Belong With Me"
In the bridge, Swift sings, “I’m the one who makes you laugh when you know you’re about to cry.” Two claps can be heard in the studio recording of the song after that line. The claps were part of the singer’s choreography in previous tours, which fans noticed and continued.
